(the Celtic Trinity)
Triquetra is the non-Christian version of the trinity. The mind, body and soul are the three cornerstones of Celtic spiritual life and are significant symbols.
Written for 14th February 2010. It is based on a necklace and earrings I bought in an Edinburgh Celtic jewellery shop, the design of which was based on an ancient Celtic symbol comprising three Vesicae piscis (fish bladders).
My wife has empathy for the pagan view on life and must have Celtic origins, having, as she does, dark hair and blue eyes. Hence my choice of design for the jewellery.
Don’t think any more explanation is needed.
