On Family

I am much preoccupied with the importance of family and its value to the future security of the nation and indeed to humanity.

The importance of family is in evidence throughout history, amongst them are all the social extremes – from the greatest enduring dynasties that ruled societies of the world, through ‘families’ like the mafia and the triads, to the poorest most downtrodden classes, whose families still have blood that’s thicker than water – but particularly the kind of family, which I believe to be the key; the kind, whose parents afford the maximum effort to provide a secure environment, unconditional love and who promote the values of good behaviour, social conscience, faith, charity and tenderness toward others.
