Conscious of
a noise.
Hypnopompic.
There’s something
or someone
doing something
familiar
but very vague.
No synapses
connecting
to reason.
Feeling a thirst
that puts
the ‘P’ in pang
the ‘D’ in desire
the ‘G’ in good
deep longing
in her heart.

O please, I want…
