(taking a breather, relaxing, unloading)
This was written for someone I love dearly and felt concern for her tendency to rush about madly trying to do everything herself. The poem came to me after a conversation I had with her, in which I tried to vouchsafe the efficacy of ‘pressing the pause button’ every once in a while.
I hope the poem speaks for itself.
